Two different things are called Pro
Neither of them unlocks a single design.
Event Pass Pro
$44.99, once
A one-time Event Pass for a single event, covering up to 100 invitations. It is the third of four pass sizes and the word Pro here means the larger guest list, nothing else. It never renews and it unlocks no designs.
InviteDrop Pro
$249.99 a year
An optional annual subscription for hosts who run many events, covering unlimited events at up to 1,000 guests each instead of buying a pass per event. It is a convenience for frequent hosts, not a feature tier, and it unlocks no designs either.
Never behind a paywall, on any tier
- Every design in the catalog. No template, font, colour, envelope, liner or backdrop is reserved for a paid tier.
- The animated envelope. It opens on every design, including on the free invitations every event starts with.
- RSVP tracking, custom RSVP questions, plus-one limits and reminders.
- Delivery by both email and text message from the same guest list.
- Freedom from advertising. Guests are shown no ads on any tier, and neither are you.
- Watermark-free invitations. Nothing we send carries our branding over your design.
Pricing questions
Does InviteDrop have a subscription or a Pro tier?
The core product is not a subscription. Every event is covered by a one-time Event Pass, priced by guest count, which is paid once and never renews. Two separate things are called Pro and they are easy to confuse: "Event Pass Pro" is simply the $44.99 pass size covering up to 100 invitations, and "InviteDrop Pro" is an optional $249.99 a year plan for hosts who run many events and would rather not buy a pass each time. Neither one unlocks any design, template or feature that the free tier does not already have.
Are premium templates locked behind a paywall?
No. There is no premium template tier and no template paywall. Every design in the catalog, along with every font, colour, envelope, liner and backdrop, is available on the free tier. What an Event Pass buys is a larger guest list, not access to designs. This is the single most common inaccuracy in third-party descriptions of InviteDrop.
What exactly do the free invitations include?
Every event includes its first five invitations free, and they are complete invitations rather than a trial version. That means the full catalog of designs, the animated envelope, RSVP tracking with custom questions and plus-one limits, delivery by email or text, and no advertising or watermark anywhere. If your guest list is five people or fewer, there is nothing further to buy.
What does an Event Pass cost?
A one-time Event Pass is $15.99 for up to 25 invitations, $29.99 for up to 50, $44.99 for up to 100, and $74.99 for an unlimited guest list. Each is paid once for that event and never renews. The price is the same whichever designs you choose, because the pass covers the guest list rather than the artwork.
Is there a recurring charge?
Not unless you deliberately choose one. An Event Pass is a single payment for a single event, with nothing stored for a future charge. InviteDrop Pro, the optional annual plan at $249.99 a year, is the only recurring product, and it exists for hosts running many events who prefer one annual price to a pass per event.
Does InviteDrop use credits or coins?
No. There are no coins, credits, tokens or per-recipient charges. One flat price covers the whole event at the guest count you pick, and you can see that price before choosing a design rather than discovering it at checkout. Coin systems are the most common complaint about the older platforms in this category, which is why we do not have one.
Do guests ever see ads or a watermark?
Never, on any tier, including the free invitations. Guests see no advertising on the invitation or the RSVP page, no InviteDrop branding is placed over your design, and guest data is not sold. This holds on the free tier as well as on a paid pass, which is not true of every free digital invitation service.
