How do you calculate an RSVP response rate?
Divide the number of guests who have responded by the number you invited, then multiply by 100. If 60 of 100 invited guests have replied, your response rate is 60%.
What is the difference between response rate and acceptance rate?
Response rate is the share of invited guests who replied either way. Acceptance rate is the share of those replies that said yes. The calculator shows both so you can tell the difference between guests who are slow to reply and guests who declined.
How does the projected attendance work?
The calculator takes the yes-rate from the guests who have already responded and applies it to the guests who have not replied yet. The low end assumes none of the remaining guests come, the high end assumes all of them come, and the expected number sits in between.
